Points of Concurrence Centroid

A median is a segment from the vertex of a triangle to the midpoint of the opposite side. The 3 medians meet at a point called the centroid. The centroid is the center of balance of the triangle, and also divides each median in a 2:1 ratio. On a coordinate grid, the x and y coordinates of the centroid can be found be averaging the x and y coordinates of the 3 vertices respectively.
