I’ve always been a cat person. Last year I randomly lost consciousness. I’ve lived by myself for twenty years and loved it. When I was released from rehab my oldest two children decided my days of living alone were over so I came home to my daughter’s. I was still falling. The first time I landed on my back. Before I could assess how I felt one of my daughter’s Goldens came running from the other end of the house and stretched out lengthwise as close as he could get to me. Now I am a cat, Golden Retriever person.
