Virtual ram actually slow down the mobile bcz the software is expanding virtual ram is running on physical ram that's why the load increases in physical ram

In low budget like redmi or realme phones, the virtual RAM doesn't work. If you enable it it will just enable without asking for reboot. However in mid-range or high-range phone which support virtual RAM will ask you to reboot your phone just after enabling it. And it works.

It does work but not in the same way you'd think.
It's basically like the swap partition in Linux distros.

Virtual ram is Swap memory, Os uses swap memory which is stored on your hdd/sdd to store Ram files . It does'nt affect much but of your power on time is high like phone is not turned off in 1 week then you'll see a slightly better RAM performance .

The thing is ur phone never uses above 8 gb ram at max....so no point in taking virtual ram

Yes it does increase the time of apps stored in recent apps, and it does make transmissions smoother when u have many apps working in background.

Whatever you restart the device to take effect it does'nt work...because storage can't take place of a real ram. The ram in our phones are very fast..even if the storage type is fast like UFS 3.1 or 3.2 still it will not work like ram!

Virtual ram works slightly. It’s very slow, but sometime works if you extend ram 12 gb or higher

If virtual Ram really works then why don’t companies just launch all the models with same RAM size like 4gb and expandable instead of phones with 4gm RAM and 8gb RAM separately.
