John Harrison and his solving of ‘The Longitude Problem’

John Harrison’s story is one of never giving up and never stopping, the Queen brought in an act of parliament to solve ‘the longitude problem’ in trying to tell your longitude at sea.
Where as the greatest scientists and minds of the time said it was impossible a humble joiner from my home county in Lincolnshire proved that accurate time keeping could solve the issue.

I fell in love with his story and can’t wait to be able to go to Greenwich and see his marine chronometers in person.
