I’m glad you and Henry didn’t hold back, the EA are completely unfit for purpose like you said. I was shocked just how little maintenance I saw when I was driving around Lincoln.

Hi Andrew, really enjoy all your waffles along with PX, Ollie and Joe etc and helps keep me up to date with what's happening in Agriculture after retirement. In the case of the Environment Agency, are our local MPs raising this in Parliament and earning some of their freebies. It's amazing how these people are in Parliament to fight our corner but their silence is deafening. Environment Agency should be disbanded along with all their fat cat salaries and bring back National River Authorities.

Thanks Andrew, great update. Really good to see Henry, I can understand his frustration regarding his farm and the potential of further flooding. I am sure you won't stop your efforts to get the EA to sort this out. Let's hope the Government can sort the funding out, surely there can't be much more important things than feeding the nation. We’ve all had a yield drop due to poor main drain and River maintenance. We can’t take the law into our own hands and repair it so surely parliament should be directly informed by the NFU and other Alliances.

Hopefully you can get drilling soon, started here on Monday but rained ever since. Using a new to us tine drill and I'm very impressed how it puts it in on some very rough and typically wet heavy land. I'm sure the sabre tine will be even better!

Perhaps Mr Peck may be able to help if Agrii struggle cleaning your beans? Although I'm sure they'll manage!

A local auctioneer near me regularly sells off ex EA Equipment, be a good buy I should think, never done any work!!

Name and shame is the only way to get someone out from behind their desk.

ea should be out to clear that drain normally the issue is finding somewhere to dump the silt but im sure harry would be happy to take the silt as its one of the most fertile soils around
