Just started playing pauper and I am glad to see Chainer's Edict get one.

Kamahl is also a sneaky boardwipe deterrent. With him on board you can turn your opponent's lands into creatures in response to a boardwipe, leaving them with no lands.

I know we're all feeling product fatigue, but I am excited to see some old cards come back in a way and at a price point I can justify getting them for.

As a pauper player, I'm really excited for reprints of Chainers Edict, Chain Lightning, and Snap!

I own at least one copy of each of the mentioned cards, and I couldn't be more happy to see them all get reprinted.

lol this is why I love the Prof. He always talks about more than just everyone's favorite singleton format

There are just so many cool reprints in DMR... some because they're long due a reprint, and some just because they're getting sweet new art. Mystic Remora, High Tide, Urza, Sylvan Library, High Tide, Windborn Muse... I could go on and on.

Yay nice reprints, but at 280 for a CC it makes far more sense to buy singles more than ever now, so videos like this are great.

I was so confused about both this video as a whole and the intro because I confused Dominaria Remastered with Dominaria United

As a pauper player I am hyped for what this does for the market. Cards like Snap, Chainer's edict, fireblast, and chain lighting were starting to raise the price to entry of the format. This also has tons of other staples that aren't as expensive guaranteeing that the price remains low. This is the kind of thing WOTC needs to keep doing because it makes magic more accessible.

Going to keep an eye on the price tags for the check lands, been wanting to grab some of them for some time

A good tip is you should wait. After the set drops prices usually tank more. I usually buy before a new set drops but that tends to be every month now so 2-3 months is usually the best prices

Kamahl makes me want to pair him with wrath of god and use my green mana targeting my opponent's lands.

I put Gemstone Mine in every 2-5 color deck. Casual or competitive, budget or $$$. One of my favorite cards and highly underrated. Playing competitive? If you aren't winning within three turns of playing Gemstone Mine, you've probably already lost. Playing casual? You're probably also playing bounce lands, and a Gemstone Mine with 1 counter left on it is a perfect bounce target.

But I play Gyome and my favorite magic card is Teething Wurmlet so maybe don't listen to me.

Peace and love.

The reprints I am most excited about are the Island and the Birds of Paradise that are in vintage card frames. I like these two cards because they will be legal in many Old School ‘93-‘94 formats, which are my favorite MTG formats. Also, I just love Mark Poole’s art.

Thanks for the great vid, Professor!
