An amazing tea talk and telescope by Dr Ken Elliot, the systems engineer for the University of Birmingham telescope. He gives a summary of what astronomy was like in the 70s and 80s with the use of photographic plates rather than CCD or CMOS cameras. Talk given in February 2024.
