Justin please let us know that you are ok and if there is anything we can do to help you or your local church. Praying you and your family are staying strong through the aftermath of the hurricane. Thank you for all you do. Your words have fortified my faith in Christ and empowered me to rest in Him and to encourage others to do the same. May God bless and keep you and your family.

Obedience is part of the free gift because it is Christ freely working in and through our new nature despite our old nature.

Thumbnail is hilarious. I did enjoy this compilation, and also you guys are the first I've heard speak on John 15 being promise centered rather than a threat. I've come to that conclusion myself on many passages that my mind once spun into threats. Another one: the one who endures to the end will be saved. Why can't we take that as the promise it is instead of conjuring up and fixating on an implied opposite?

Not only is He the propitiation of ours sins, He is the propitiation for the sins of the entire world. (I wonder why he didn't read that part of the verse? (Kind of a big thing to skip over no?) Conclusion: No one suffers eternal torment for their sins. No one suffers forever. To say they do is to reject Christ.

“Whoever says “I know him”, but does not keep his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him.” (1John2:4)
