When we're children we want so much to be grown up and free to do whatever we choose. Like most young women I married and worked and eventually our son came along. I've done many things and been many places and enjoyed myself immensely. When I turned 50 everything for me was still good. I was still healthy and strong and able to do pretty much what I wanted. Three yrs ago I was injured in an accident that took away my freedom of movement. I'm unable to walk and confined to a wheelchair. I'd give just abt anything to stand up and walk once again. In my mind's eye I imagine all of my favorite places and there I am walking around in them. If there are places that you want to go, things you want to do or people you want to see get up and do it ASAP as long as you are physically able to do so. Truly you never know what may happen tonight or tomorrow or the next day or week or year so do it while you can. YOLO No time like the present.

I found this song in 2013 as i was leaving home.
At different times in my life it has been my reminder to slow down.
A couple of weeks ago i showed it to my stepdad who was battling cancer and he loved it.
Two days ago due to complications from pneumonia he passed away.
Now i get to hear this and think of him.
I am so sad, but so grateful for this life.

I have a teacher who supports me more than my mother, I'm always anxious and never think I'm good enough for anything, actually I always think I'm not gonna be able to work, like, it scares the shit out of me, and I'm so used to think I can't do anything right or be enough for my goals (I don't even know what are they). I told the results of a test I took and my professor acted so gently, he thinks I'm awesome for some reason, and when I told my mother she was like "Hum, yeah, it's avarage". Everytime someone demonstrate affection for me I fell like I'm gonna crumble, if someone makes a compliment I want to hide and cry, because I know that I should be better. What do you do when your best suck? "When you try your best but you don't succed..."
