More people are going to be car poor I wish manufacturers would focus on making cars the average person could afford without being broke. Even with my six-figure household income I would never spend more than $40, 000 on a vehicle, and that's even pushing it unless my house was paid off. You shouldn't have a large portion of your income tied up in a vehicle. Unless you enjoy spending the rest of your life working, I would like to retire a millionaire myself.
