So far my biggest issue with Lil Nas X is that some of his songs feel way to short. I’m always left wanting some more. The songs bang, but I’m always wanting a little something extra on the songs.

I think the fact that he’s not emotional when singing those lyrics to himself almost shows the self acceptance and maturity, he’s comfortable now and doesn’t need to get upset by reflecting on his past and has moved on

Easily his best track to date. MONTERO is fantastic as well, but gets edged out by SUN GOES DOWN because of the track’s emotional sentiments. A lot of the lyrics resonate with my past experiences in high school and the music video really hit home.
