What a bunch of fools. Galileo was under house arrest until his death, he was not allowed to spread the truth and his book was banned. This is not something to laugh about it or take it so lightly. He suffered with this punishment by the Catholic Church. Also, this priest with a "Ph.D" talks about the lack of evidence at that time. Hello ? Galileo built his own telescope. None of the priests, neither the Pope took the task to have a look through it. The Pope was mad because in Galileo's Dialogue, portrayed him as a simple unintelligent man, under the character of Simplicio. That Pope was an ignorant with power (the worse combination), but finally the truth once again won, even though it took since Copernicus one century to be accepted, but prevailed.
