"They don't make finer steel anywhere else"

Eorlund Gray-Mane: and I took that personally

Usually those who wear heavy armor are the officers, so I always thought it was kind of funny that they give this option to recruits

I once shopped with him, he said he had "the finest weapons and armor" and he only had a wedge of cheese

I like that the entire Imperial legion in Skyrim as well as the Stormcloak Army are each supplied by a single extremely overworked blacksmith in there capital city.

this dialogue always made me think that there were plans for medium armor type alongside light and heavy

“They don’t make finer steel anywhere else” is really a joke since imperial armor is more in line with iron armor and much inferior to steel.

He wasn’t kidding saying they don’t make finer steel anywhere else, he’s forging literal skyforge.

Asks for medium, gets 3 pieces of heavy and one light.

The guy uses he's bare hands to hold glowing hot metal...imagine how soft he's hands are

I don't know why, but I'm starting to think it's one free outfit per soldier

Man that'd be really great if medium armor was actually a thing like it is in ESO.

It always bugged me that the "medium" armor was classified as light armor in-game.

It made me wish that there was some kind of medium armor type in the game itself.

Love the differences. I remember testing the alternate dialogues and armors in one of my playthroughs.

Always choose Medium! You can easily craft the light and heavy versions; the studded imperial cuirass you have to get off of Imperial soldiers that have it!
