Great to change the filter. How does one clean the circular "button" that is in the lid that the brewed coffee drips through??

My manual said to soak 15 minutes and then rinse 10 seconds.

Is there a way to get a new filter holder? The first time I had to open it up to put a filter in the snap broke and now it doesn't snap shut.

Had my espresso machine for 18 months. Always used FILTERED water to begin with.
Never changed the charcoal filter

My filter lasted five pots before my coffee started smelling like pool water instead of freshly brewed bold roast. I can't even drink it and had to dump the pot. These filters are a joke against chlorine. Zero chloramine in my water.
