Asus will never succeed in phone market until they offer better after sales and software support. I own a Asus TUF Laptop and its one of the best purchase that i have made but when it comes to phones they lack software support or feature drops. ROG Phones are really expensive and they must provide at least 4-5 years of software support. My brother's ROG phone 5 display got damaged and it took more than 2 months to repair it.

I'm a T-Mobile customer that's been desparately clinging to my LG V60 for the past 4 years. My brother finally convinced me that it's time to upgrade. I searched GSMArena for any phone that's Available or Coming Soon, supports Android 14, and has at least 12GB RAM. Literally hundreds of results. Then I applied two features my V60 has. Support for T-Mobile LTE/5G band 71 (600MHz). Down to less than 50 results. Has a 3.5mm (headphone) jack. 12 Results. My choices basically came down to ASUS, Ulefone, and last year's Sony Xperia 1 V. I'm going with ASUS.

Losing half your performance to thermal throttling is ridiculous. Phones are not meant to be high end gaming devices.

The phone is good overall if you can afford it, the point of this phones is that you can game longer in it than a regular flagship phone.

Ive got the rog phone 6, still holds strong along with minimum maintenance. Dont think ill get another one just to keep up when its still keeping up in terms of performance.

The problems was heat temperature and long lasting battery consumption. This depending on what hertz you are using. Although you can use cooling fan as provided but the catch is you have to bring it everytime/anywhere. Next time please do compared it from high to low hertz for battery consumption per minutes

The phone is great, but at that price people expected to get great camera as well since all phones with great camera also good in gaming perfornances.
