I was just bored and wanted to know my secret id, and this video was super helpful. Even if I need to go get another shiny with no evs because the one I have gave 2 possible secret ids, which the only difference was a gender ratio that the pokemon didn't have.

Because I got a shiny Mudkip in 5 ENCOUNTERS WHILE WATCHING

Update 1: I've gotten my SID now. I kept track of EVs until I remembered pickup was a thing, so now my Mudkip/Marshtomp/Swamper is level 65 after Winona.
Also if anyone needs a Sweet Scent Pokemon in Ruby Sapphire or Emerald, catch an Oddish on Route 117. It'll know Absorb and Sweet Scent.

Update 2: welp, time to get 50 rare candies from Pickup since I don't have a copy of Emerald, let alone a 2nd GBA and a link cable. My coral DS lite spoiled me lol

Hi blisy, I have a question. Thanks to this video I was able to find SID for my Sapphire but then I realize that my internal battery is still good and is not dry. My question is am I able to do any RNG hunts on my Sapphire or is that out of the cards? I was looking to hunt for a shiny Latias.

I used the pomeg glitch and code execution glitch to find my SID, without owning any shiny pokémon. Thank god it exists otherwise I'd be screwed! 😂

Question: Ive deduced and logged a wild Shiny Pokémon’s IVs from my Diamond Save. Among the results, Can a Shiny Pokémon caught via wild encounter (with no Cute Charm glitch active) in DPPt have Cute Charm as its listed Method when its IVs are calculated through Pokefinder’s IV to PID tool?

The shiny pokemon I'm using to deduce IV's from, a Golbat, won't lower it's EV's from berries. When I try, it says "GOLBAT turned friendly. The base *insert berry's applicable stat* can't fall!" This has lead to invalid IV deduction. How can I fix and/or bypass this?

Brand new to rng. First time out.
In my current emerald playthrough, I caught a full odds shiny voltorb. Never battled anythung with it.
I cloned it and moved 1 copy to home where i can judge it.
Can i determine the ivs from the copy or should i do the OG one still in gen 3?

I started shiny starter hunting on emerald using Choppy’s method and it just seems off to me. Have you tried finding a shiny starter and worked it out?
