Please don’t hesitate on making the damage model similar to the first Race Driver Grid. That’s what made the races give that much needed adrenaline rush.

1. More emphasis on the damage model. The original Grid had one of the best damage models.
2. Perfception of weight of the car, Grid implemented this very well by means of some very smart camera movements.

As a massive fan of the original GRID, I really hope this time they can pull it off. To me the biggest problem the series had for the previous game is lacking scope/polish, the OG GRID is fun to play, with its natural simcade handling, varied discipline, deep team management and beautiful graphics, the later ones only managed to do 1 or 2 of those.
I know game development is not easy (it's probably way more difficult at times like this), but when the bar was set so high, not meeting it is a hard sell for the GRID fans.

Wow, that one came out of nowhere. Let's hope it will be more successful than the previous Grid game. Not too interested in the story stuff personally but it could still be a good game if the gameplay is good and if it has proper multiplayer lobbies at launch this time.

Bring back what made the original Race Driver: GRID a original and distinctive game. Bring back the classic and responsive controls from the first game, the multi-class racing, all of the drifting modes like Freestyle and GP, great atmosphere, touges, management on career mode with bonus for the biggest contracts for racing clean, the exceptional damage model and announcer. And don't forget about the classics cars and tracks like Shibuya, Detroit, San Francisco, Milan, LeMans, etc... We don't need another failure like GRID 2019!

Did anyone else just realize that the driver they've wanted to punch in the face since the original GRID finally actually has a visible face? That said, I'm not confident in Codemasters delivering on this story mode, but I can always cherish my memories with the original GRID.

I absolutely love the GRID series... including the latest one (I have all 3 Seasons + DLC). I know it's quite arcade style, but it's a nice relaxing racing sim away from my usual Codemasters/EA F1 game. Looking forward to this!

LMAO at people, the original Grid (TOCA Race Driver) always came with a story mode similar to this, if you guys are going to talk about "going back to Original Grid" then you guys need play the PS2 TOCA Race Drivers first
