ASMR Loop: Ricky Jay (Library Visit) - Unintentional ASMR - 1 Hour

Happy July 20th to ya!
I'm not sure if this clip was recommended or if I found it myself awhile back but I just had to loop it! (The video quality is almost blasphemous and I apologize for that. Tried to find a legit copy of this documentary but it seems to only be linked back to the YT link listed below.) Ricky Jay can be seen on many ASMR channels doing card tricks but I really love this clip of him talking about Magic Books in the Library. He is using his quiet voice to be respectful to the other library patrons and it makes for great ASMR. I edited out a couple frames and some audio for ASMR. Hope you enjoy!

This interview and the sheer beauty and allure of that Library is what made me fall in love with the idea of having a library and a study of my own. In truth, today all that is needed is a computer, but there is a beauty and elegance to the Written word and the Physical and Historical Record of it. The smell of an old book, how it feels in the hand, the sounds it makes. It’s absolutely beautiful; sensations that cannot be replaced.

I have scoured the internet for as many Ricky Jay items that I could find. My love for magic initially sprouted from two individuals…my Dad, who was a magician and owned a magic shop in Brick, NJ, and Ricky Jay, who was our favorite magician. Thank you so much for this! the stillness and peace in a library; the slightly echoy sound of pages turning, quiet voices mumbling to each other etc.... Old libraries even moreso. I really need to start going back to them....
