Thank you for your great insight offered on your channel. Just picked up a Martin SC-13 standard and an Anthem SL to install plus a used Boss AD-2 preamp. The SC-13 probably was not the best value but loved the feel under my fingers.

If you end up doing a full review, I’d love to hear how the guitar handles percussive slaps on the body. I’m thinking more for looping (i.e. making a beat, using string muted strums, slaps on the body, thumping the bridge for a bass drum sound, etc.). I’m very intrigued by this instrument. I have a Maton TEC and I’m impressed with the Cole Clarks acoustic tone output. It sounds very natural.

Pull that tone knob and try the mid to back position to see if you get another unique sound.

HonAaron, thanks for the demo. I just picked up my true hybrid last week. Curious. This demo. Did you wire into two different Amps? Or PA? What were they and how did you set up. Also, for each of the demos, would be good to know what position you had the other switch?

Thanks for all your videos. How do you like the acoustic sound? I’ve been playing a Martin d35 with anthem pickup. I know the hybrid won’t sound as good acoustic but is it the best sounding hybrid in your opinion? I’ve been getting into looping and love the idea of having the electric sound available. I’ve played a couple different acoustisonics but felt the acoustic sound just wasn’t good enough.

A more traditional and I hope cheaper option than the carbon fibre Emeralds. I'd like to know how susceptible to feedback they are on a loud stage.
