Eric Draven is one of my favorite characters in all of fiction. that being said, the chase should have been a sodafied version of the pop that has him with the crow standing on a flaming crow, i would have bought out a store just to find a chase (dw, im not a scalper so id take the rest back and sell the opened ones at a fair price)

The reason gambling is allowed in toys/games etc is because the profit margin is small enough that it's not enough for government to need to set an example. The first time they might have conceivably step in was when a LotR magic the gathering chase card went for over $1million on secondary market. Obviously loot boxes in video games are becoming something that is in conversation as straw that breaks the back and have laws against them in other countries. Still to artifially create rarity to create "worth" to something that would otherwise have less worth is a sleezy tactic. It does have people with addiction issues ( most people) by 4 of something for the thrill of maybe getting something they artificial created the odds of getting.
