Hey I have a mahachai pair I’m trying to spawn. I’ve bred regular bettas before and I’ve managing to breed them in a bare tank but my mahachais got stressed in bare tanks. Is it safer to breed them in a planted tank? I’m new to wilds

I hope the natural beauty of wild species remains the same, I would hate to see them become morphed and inbred like the domestic bettas.
