4 day trip to Amsterdam with my friend 🤍✈️ Here is your perfect 4 day itinerary for a weekend away to Amsterdam! I absolutely loved this city and it makes the perfect getaway (especially for all the foodies!!).

Recommendations:

Cafes/Breakfast:
Chun - worth the hype!! We queued about 15mins and was worth it :)
Fort Negan - you MUST try the chocolate almond croissant (one of the best things I have ever eaten...)
Locals - perfect brunch spot or for breakfast
Teds - another good brunch spot (must try the french toast!)
Saint-Jean - the pistachio cruffin is a must but the other pastries also looked too good...

Snacks:
Van wonderen stroopwafels - slightly overrated and expensive but you must try a Stroopwafel when in Amsterdam!
Fabel fries - must try the truffle mayo and parmesan fries
Van Stapele - the famous cookie shop... you can pre-order 2 days before to skip the queues but these make the perfect gift to take back home
Zero Zero - a quick and filling lunch spot

Restaurants:
Ceppi's - perfect date night restaurant, cute Italian spot
Secret Garden - on the more pricey side but the perfect spot for an occasion
Lolo - again another cute Italian spot for dinner

Sightseeing/things to do:
Tony's chocolate - build your own chocolate bar, super quick and cute as a gift
Anne Frank House - we didn't get a chance to go inside but worth seeing it from the outside too
The Hoxton - vintage photobooth
Eye museum - we only went for the flipbook but the museum was actually really interesting too
A'DAM lookout - the swing is a must (unless you are afraid of heights haha) but if not, the bar/viewpoint is worth the visit
S3x museum - a must when in Amsterdam, not too expensive and something to do for an hour or so
