The voice that whispers to the depths of the soul, with a resonance surpassing even that of a soprano’s lament. Such profound expression left me in awe.

Many thanks from the Czech Republic for this beautiful rendition. I recently listened Karel Gott and Patricia Janečková singing it....

Songs my mother taught me,
In the days long van-ish'd;
Sel-dom from her eye-lids
Were the tear-drops ban-ish'd.

Now I teach my chil-dren,
Each me-lo-dious meas-ure.
Oft the tears are flow-ing,
Oft they flowing from my mem'ry's treas-ure.

Her beautiful singing voice is out of this world
Inspired by her song,
I might have a dream of my late beloved mother.
It's bliss

Marie-Anne, listening to your heavenly voice on Dvorak's birthday is a pleasure that words can't describe. "Oft the tears are flowing, Oft they flow from my memory's treasure". Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!

Suffering, sadness, fear and joy are all in our life .
It is necessary to survive by any means .
To fulfill the miraculous life that our mother gave us

Amazing performance, but also Manca has some irresistible charm, impossible to attribute to anything in particular in her lovely appearance. Warmth, sincerity, trust. "Zhenstvennost" that does not require any affirmation or emancipation, just authentic, original beautiful woman.

There are no words for this kind of music. Combined with the words associated with mothers. Really touches the heart.

Manca presents a rich and resonant voice... Liquid gold. Exceedingly disciplined in following score and verbalizing with crisp diction. It's a pleasure to listen... I can only hope to hear her in person someday. Her evident talent is a gift to us all.

I grew up listening to so much Dvorak and Smetana, I liked it from first hearing. This song is amazing, such longing and beauty. He has such great melodies.
