It’s Johanna Basford’s 30 Days of Creativity – Day 24!

Here’s a basic method to create a glowing effect in the backgrounds of your coloring pages. You can do this with any colors, around any objects. Just choose 3-4 colors from the same hue, but with different values (dark to light) – for example, I’m using a very light blue to a dark blue. You can also include white and black to increase your contrast.

Pencils used: Prismacolor Premier PC 938, 1087, 1102, 133, 933, 901

This is so cool! It reminds me of a 🌎. The blue looks like water and it looks really cool to have the lightest color at the edges and the dark in the center. So, so pretty! You're just amazing!
