Solving a proportion for a variable

👉 Learn how to solve proportions. Two ratios are said to be proportional when the two ratios are equal. Thus, proportion problems are problems involving the equality of two ratios. When given a proportion problem with an unknown, we usually cross-multiply the two ratios and then solve for the unknown using the applicable operations.

thank you so much. I was crying and having a mental breakdown in my room because i didn't do my homework out of laziness and said i left it at home and went home Friday with even more of it and i forgot what i was doing and i lost my test which had an 82 on it never enough to satisfy my parents and i needed a note from one of my parents saying that i actually left my homework at home to get full credit. my math grades were slipping because i never did my math homework so i decided since i was really stressed out to play hicky and miss a day and i ended up crying most of it i can't express how grateful i am that this made it to the internet. Also, any advice on how to deal with ADHD because i'm reeeaaally close to just dropping out of school because i can't remember or motivate myself to do my work

another simler way if ur still confused: just divided the numerators (28 divided by 4) which is 7 and then divide the denominaor by seven which gives u 7...
