It’s weird after fighting my way through the underworld and dying so many times I started to get the same determination as Zagreus to find Persephone. It was bittersweet when I realized I couldn’t stay with her, but it also meant that I wouldn’t leave everyone behind in the underworld.

My mother passed away in 2020 due to short term disease, this song man, makes me tear up every time. I would do anything to be able to hug her again, something i didnt do enough of.

I remember getting her back and was happy with it. I was sad when we couldn’t go back to the surface anymore though. The music will always remind me of a sunrise and overflowing relief.

as if you are on a mountain side in the warmth of the first light caressing you gently in a beautiful day remembering the fond memories that you would have had, how short it was, how I want it to not ever end.

The games does this transicion of emotions so well, puts you through all this death, rage, staburnes and anger and in the end, makes you understand with such a sweet way, why everything happened in this story...which for me i am not gonna lie, makes me tear up... all the time

Zagreus putting up Greek Drawings of Persephone that was given to him by Nyx, Orpheus, and Achilles without Hades knowing, on the sign before heading out again to fight his way back to his mother for over a hundred times:
"Do it for her."
