Came for BoJack, stayed for good music. One of those songs that speak directly to your soul.

I only heard this song for two seconds on Bojack. I felt a sweet pain. And here I am, feeling it again.
I don't know why I do the things I do.

"Silence relieves me
Speaks when I can't
Tells me it's getting out of hand"
The song fits so perfectly with the show I can't even

Ditch the consequences
gimme just the last hurrah
make it linger like a spring gives winter time to thaw
trouble comes easy
i dodge what i can
how'd it all get so...
out of hand
for the aches i still take
was made to do
let the memories escape
now go, tomorrow's due
pay and go easy
i hate your demands
hope they don't get too...
out of hand

silence relieves me
speaks when i can't
tells me it's getting...
out of hand
end

Yeah this was on BoJack Horseman, but I feel this song would be incredible in the soundtrack of the newest Life is Strange game. Haha

This leaves me with very few words to describe it's beauty. Balanced, direct, earnest and divine is all I have to throw at this masterpiece.

I saw them in 2007/08. Agian, with the gig being one of the best I have ever had the pleasure of whitnessing, I can't put to words with justifiable symantics why the music is so beautiful. Sonically they have it nailed at small venues. The music bounced off the walls because there were so few people in attendance. The playing was so tender and thoughtful, it still baffels me why they didn't rise up like Newsom or Banhart did. When I say hardly any people, we were probably was amidst 100 maximum. This was Brighton, England, so I hope their venues elswhere in the world were packed.

I saw what made up most of vetiver at a festival in England also, however I was smoking alot of grass in my twenties so I can't tell you what year it was, however, what I can tell you, is they were proping up Devendra's simple songs and making them expansive and repetitively dynamic as I hope Devendra wrote them for. It was immense, and everyone was swaying in the crowd, teary eyed and also happy.
I have never felt any negative impact from either Vetiver (Andy Cabic) nor Devendras' work. Nor Newsom for that matter. All blossoming around 2004 and each having their rightful place, in my mind at least, as some of the best musicains/songwriters to grace this confusing world!

The positive is, they/he write to covey a direct truth, and this is the only way to write good music naturally. Perhaps most of all proficient in this manor is Nick Drake, who held nothing back and only artists like Vetiver are the way to see this truth in music anew.
All the best.
