What cracks me up the most is the Embiid sitting will have the complete opposite of his intended effect.

Excessive rest/load management is the root cause of most non-contact injuries. When the body doesn’t build up the proper strength to partake in the rigors of an NBA game, it breaks down. It’s why we see the “resters, ” continually get hurt.

I don’t think we’ll ever see a truly long term healthy Embiid, or any heavy rest player for that reason. It’s a shame.
