I met director Gaysorn Thavat on Waiheke Island's Palm Beach in February 1994. It was a brief 15 minute encounter but she was pleasant mannered and sociable. Gaysorn is half Thai, not half Chinese as I have seen on another website. I am happy to see that she has very well progressed in her career as at the time I met her, Gaysorn was a student of TV editing and programme making. Lindsay Evans. Hamilton NZ.
