A weekly webinar from ZP answering technical questions from the week.
Questions from the week:
QUESTION 1A - (1) SIA if it allows us to do calibration using sensors we develop (based on your screen printed electrodes) and standard solutions we make

QUESTION 1B - (2) Platinum 501 SPE vs hyper value platinum SPE, which is more appropriate for us to develop our immobilization methods? If the sensor is to be used for blood samples, should we order the SPE with chloride resilient layer? For lactate sensing, which SPE (platinum or gold) would be easier for students to obtain reproducible enzyme immobilization results?

QUESTION 1C - (3) Lactate sensor and glucose sensor: what is the difference between Generation 1 and 2? If we order these sensors, can we receive info about the specific immobilization chemistry used on the working electrode?

QUESTION 1D - (4) For your GLO sensor pack, are the glucose and lactate sensors the same as the ones in (3)?

QUESTION 1E - (5) The Biosensor measurement kit: how does the custom kit work? Do we tell you the analyte of interest and you programme the sensor?

QUESTION 1F - (6) Chloride sensor and sulfite sensor: can these be used for soil sensing? What is the soil sample preparation procedure?
QUESTION 2A - You use platinum working electrode for both glucose and lactate sensing. Do you have publications for us to better understand the immobilization methods you used in these two sensors? If not, can you tell me the crosslinker used in your formulation? Is the polyurethane solution used to block nonspecific binding of other proteins in your test solution? Can bovine serum albumin be used to replace polyurethane?

(2) QUESTION 2B - How easy is it to use the SIA platform to calibrate a sensor using your screen printed electrodes and user-developed bioelement immobilization strategy?

(3) QUESTION 2C - I saw your biosensors developers kit using Ana Pot. Can you tell me what these 100 bare electrodes are? Do you have any video/webinar with demo of this kit? I feel this kit might be the most appropriate for our student team's senior design project, but I also understand that it doesn't have the cloud-based data processing. So I'm debating whether I should get this kit or the SIA with screen printed electrodes for the student team.

Do you have more details, i.e. for instance regarding the sensitivity and what kind of sample is needed. In the video, did you just pipette plasma onto the sensor or was there an extraction of testosterone beforehand?
Is It possible to use the sulfite sensor in a continuous manner? What is the life cycle of the product?
I was looking for preparing a biosensor which can detect surface meat pathogen, on YouTube one person asked also. I also wanted to know what are different setups we need to make our biosensor.
Do you make molecularly imprinted polymers? I am looking at making MIPs for HIV (p24, gp36 &41) to put on the electrode.
Here are a few questions
1. What about glycerol sensors?
2. I may need a wire glucose sensor. Can it be connected to the meter you are offering me?
How much sweat in rest
Can your sweat patch collect in uL/h when attached to the arm?
What is the minimal droplet for SPCE and wire glucose electrode?
What is the minimal measurable concentration of those electrode?
