Today, day of his passing I want to express my gratitude for his messages, his love, his life. In times of great unhappiness and worries, his message provided great peace and the so needed relief. This song while inviting the bell invites also for worldwide peace, love and respect for all.

I'm not sure of what culture or what religion or belief this music is from- All I know is that I just listened to this for the 1st time and my whole body tingled and something inside of me woke up. I feel completely different. I think it spoke to my soul. And I feel such a peace right now, from the inside out. This is an amazing discovery. I will be diving into this for more. This took me on a journey of emotions. I began to weep when it first started, and then witnessed the calm and healing that started to wash over me. This was deeply healing.. I felt so many stuck emotions surface and dissipate. The heaviness that I wasn't even aware of being there, transmuted to peace. I sit here, smiling with contentment & gratitude. Transmitting the energy of this powrrful, timeless prayer to all the victims of the Israel-Palestine war, the Russia - Ukraine war, and all the other wars going on at this time, the visible and not visible ones, the reported and unreported ones; from wars of plenetary scale, to the war between nations and alliances and the spiritual war, the inner jihad that every sentient being might be going through at the present moment.

Today (16/11/23) would have been my daughter Kate’s 31st birthday. She died of organ failure in 2015. This came up in my feed as it began to rain outside my lorry as l am at work. As the bell rang, my tears joined with the rain and the feeling of loss and suffering felt by infinite beings joined with mine. Thank you Thay for holding my pain so softly here, and passing it back to me so I could care for it. 🙏🙏🙏

it’s been 25 years since I spent 2 peaceful weeks listening and sitting with our beautiful teacher (Thay) and walking in meditation with him and the monks and nuns of Plum Village. I’ll always remember 4am bell and sunflowers in silent walking meditation to dharma talks. This bell and short video bring me back. Thank you Thich Nhat Hahn for BEing 🙏🏼🧘🏼‍♀️
