Emd locomotive has much more power (4400hp) vs 3200 hp from Alco. adventages from Emd :2 strokes engine, more quicky acceleration . But Alco engineer change slowly the steps, Alco always smoke, is normal, witha good upgrade charger this issue reduces a lot.
