I struggled with real analysis with this book. What made the class more difficult was the professor's requirement for assignments to be turned in using LaTex. My professor is a brilliant man; he needed more experience breaking down the concepts to newbies.

My first time taking analysis we were using Fitzpatrick and I was not learning much. Eventually my professor got so fed up with Fitzpatrick that he switched to this book which caused me to finish with an A in the class
