That was a lot of work for that tiny igniter! Now if I could just find my stove brand on YouTube.

My parent would bite my head off, if I took off the whole cook top. Hopefully the burner will work tomorrow after drying overnight. 😂 the spark is not working on that burner but it’s coming out elsewhere, there’s definitely gas.

Ps. Very nice voice and camera work. everything was crystal clear. I enjoyed it❤

We got the Wolf brand gas cooktop. Works good. But if you spill water on the burner it will not light until it dries. And if it gets dirty it want light.

Thanks for the video! My stove top burner turns on but the igniter stays ticking as if not on… any thoughts?

Did you check to see if the igniter was firing, as there's a visible spark generated? You didn't show that in the video.
On our GE range, regardless the burner being started, at the ignition point on the dial all burners' igniters will spark.
Perhaps just a loose connection to the failing burner's igniter?

Great Video and I am pretty handy, BUT 😳 I think to remedy that situation on my stove is to just get a stick lighter and use that for just one pilot. Won't kill LOL
MIGHT EVEN SAVE ME A BIG HEADACHE LATER AFTER I FU$&? IT ALL UP🤣🤣🤣🤣
