Serena (she/her) and Leon (he/him) have been together for four years, navigating the highs and lows that come with any deep and committed relationship. Along the way, they’ve faced challenges, particularly around mental health, but instead of letting those struggles divide them, they’ve used them as opportunities to grow closer—to listen with more compassion, to support with more empathy, and to love with more intention. Their relationship is a continuous journey of reflection and growth, built on honesty and a shared desire to be the best they can be for each other. As they look toward the future—perhaps even as parents—their love remains unwavering. Their story reminds us that true connection isn’t about perfection, but about showing up, asking the hard questions, and choosing each other, again and again.

She cries over her love for him and he says ‘I think of leaving you often’. Sometimes, women need to ‘de-clutter’ the flowery words around something so brutal and see it for what it is. He just isn’t capable of the same love she is. She is a deeper person than him and has a larger capacity to love someone. Whether she accepts him or not for his answers, deep down, she would want someone to love her with the same degree she does. I hope she does find that person. He needs to stop being so self involved and talking in philosophies about being unfaithful etc.
