F Zero - Fire Field (Metal Cover)

You Got Boost Power! New Year, New Cover. This song is such an awesome tune I just had to cover it. Also somebody suggested in the comments of my Silence cover that I do a cover of Fire Field. So here it is.

My rendition of this song is essentially a hybrid of the original SNES version and the Super Smash Bros Brawl version. The overall arrangement is the same as the SNES version but I thought it would be better to use the varied chord progressions from the Brawl version in my cover. I also included an additional lead guitar so there’s some harmonies going on to make the song sound more bigger. With the rhythm guitar I tried to go all James Hetfield and downpick nearly all of it, but couldn’t keep up the stamina, so there are only a few riffs where I downpick, the rest is alternate picking.
