I have the purple version. The clasp is large, but I love the 6 adjustment holes. Very easy to get a perfect fit.

The purple dial is cool and different, but I actually think with this simple design and with the red seconds hand the blue dial works a little bit better. I really dug the MAS Irukandji’s look in purple a bit more, as far as purple watches go.

Said in another review the crown looks like "planted" on the case, but the watch looks nice, specs and price make it a win.

Great review. I too would love to see the crown modified. The clasp never bothered me, but with an 8.5 inch wrist it felt fine. But I agree it could slim down a bit.

I’ve got the green one. VB accidentally sent me the blue watch you have first (that actual watch!), but couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly in my dealings with them.
As you rightly said the green is a strap monster.
I cannot recommend this watch and VB highly enough, do yourself a favour and get this before it sells out!

If your pt5000 watches need a fair bit of torque to get them winding they have a problem. It sounds like the rotor might be spinning when you turn the crown which is a problem I have found with all 3 of the pt5000 watches I bought. The escapement time one didn’t have the problem at first but it started recently and I ended up removing the automatic winding mechanism from my San Martin.

Looks a bit plain and somehow reminds me of old cheap seiko 5 or Russian watches from the 70s. I’m not sure why.
