" Only in pencil" is a classic! I was born in 1982 and still remember it as clear as yesterday.

I think teachers probably are the same the world over with different degrees of mean and snark.

Ugh I hate the bell. My teachers would say "the bell doesn't dismiss you, I do" and then I'd silently punch them in the face

Ну всё лучше и лучше! Ты очень растёшь профессионально. Молодец! Фразы такие: "Сейчас вам домашки прибавлю", "Сейчас на вас докладную напишу", "Собирай свои манатки и преезжай на последнюю парту!" :)

"Should I split the grade between the 2 of you" killed me! XD
Half of these are things Italian Teachers say too. The only differences are that my teachers used to say "Please, guys, not too many people at the same time!" (instead of "forest of hands") and the 10 years of teaching were usually at least 20!

Most of my teachers blamed us for things, stuff that didn't matter.  We don't count on standardized testing.  My parents should have gotten involved, but they had problems of their own.  As a child, I was terrified of my teachers and rarely spoke.

Lol! "Go back, and come in normal!" My Russian professor stopped me at the door once, because I'd dyed my hair red, instead of blond, "No, what happened to hair? Ees okay, we fix, you just go to store, and they sell the dye in box, ees only five dollar, I do this myself, " then she played a Soviet cartoon called Ryzhyi Ryzhyi konopati, in front of the whole class. . .

This is incredible... Living in Korea, I can tell you that they are kinda things that asain teachers do as well.

I mean, seriously, it's a true mystery of how teachers always know what we do without looking at us...!
