A lot of backrooms levels are actually designed to feel familiar by having general landmarks of places you might have seen before, but not having any details to make it seem lifeless yet still keep the familiarity.

1. Liminal spaces
2. Depends on the entities chasing you. Likely that there is a hoard of HOSTILE entities and you would die depending on which entity it is.
3. If the backrooms was real, it would only realistically be possible by entering the backrooms through your mind.
4. I don’t know what skin givers do but they prob just share the skin they have on their body. Either the skin stealer would accept the skin and eat it (whilst thanking the skin giver) or it would just be an endless loop.
5. Nobody actually knows what’s on the other side of a window trap due to them dying before they could ask what it is. So far we haven’t gotten any reports of someone escaping the backrooms through a window so it’s probably a no or it remains a mystery.

Shower Thought about the backrooms: What happens if two skin-stealers "steals" the skins of a couple, will they behave as a couple or they will stay apart like they aren't a couple?

I'll try :)

1. Some of those backrooms levels are (hypotithecally) built from your/someone else's lucid dream. [Or, the level may gives you a feeling of familliarism.]
2. There are chances where the entities stop chasing at you if you proceed to not flee away from them. [Normally, the entities could've kill you if they caught you.]
3. In my theory, the backrooms are casually an cosmic dimension where all people's dreams are located.
If you had a nightmare whilst asleep, you may have entered on of those "Unsafe" backrooms levels.
4. They would've fight until one of them evantually accepts defeat.

5. It depends on the level of the backrooms.
Most windows seems to be blocked by the endless void, or heavenly shiny light-source.
But some of them could've lead you into other backrooms levels, which (imo) i highly recomended to not go towards them.
There are possibillities if the windows are actually a trap, but further researches never found one until now.
The "To reality" windows are only theorised by the backrooms khans, but there are occasionally doors that can lead back to the reality.
[Not only doors, but via rituals, etc.]

With the dream one, the "levels" are people's interconnected dreams and the safe levels come from people in a good state of mind. When someone noclips into the backrooms, they have essentially fully transported to this separate reality of other people's dreams.

the backrooms levels feel familiar due to liminality. a good description/explanation of why its familiar is because these rooms remind you of something, mainly from your childhood. ex: maybe your dad worked at an office, which is why ! might feel familiar if it didnt have the danger theme. without the danger theme, itd just be a long office. or level 1, its similar to a parking garage

One time I had a dream were I was like 8 years old and I was on a kids playground with a little girl, all I remember about her is that she has a rainbow skirt, matching the place and her face was blurry, we were playing but in one moment she said “this isn’t real” with a disturbed voice and then we continued playing without giving it importance, those dreams I’m pretty sure they’re lucid, we played for another long time and then she stared saying wake up, wake up, wake up and the more she said it the more her voice sounds disturbed, however when I woke up I found out I only fell asleep for five minutes…

Part two: I had a continuation of the dream each night, but every night passed the dream became weirder, her voice sounded more disturbed every night and her limbs grown a lot till the moment that was used to be a simple dream became a nightmare, I got really scared and I couldn’t sleep, Cause it didn’t matter what I did, I always had that dream and I dunno why, when I found about the backrooms, I got really interested on it since there were many things similar to my dream. I didn’t got to sleep for like 4 days, but eventually I couldn’t handle it anymore and I fall asleep in middle of my class, the dream continued that little time I fell asleep and when I did I woke up in less than 5 minutes and what I saw was just….

The thing about visiting the backrooms in your dreams is partially true... Almost every year in my life I've been to places like the backrooms In my dream atleast once a year or not at all. And it's scary cause when I watch backrooms videos it always triggers something in my mind that's familiar with it like I was there... Once I visited a forest that was deep and dense then I came across a unsettling mansion in a liminal space type area with grass hills. And also I've experienced creatures in those dreams EXTREMELY the same as the ones in the backrooms. I'm not saying it's real or fake but it's definitely something to question.

Actually, this has been answered.

Skinstealers eat the excess skin given by the skingivers. So, skingivers are basically a free meal. And as for the reason that humans are attacked by Skinstealer is that we are mistaken for skingivers. Btw, skingivers can regrow their skin infinitely and it doesn't hurt them to lose any.
