How To Draw Testosterone Cypionate With a 31 Gauge Insulin Needle 🌟Pro Tip

Alot of our patients ask about using smaller needles for their testosterone injections.

For small daily subcutaneous injections, you can use a 31 gauge insulin needle with relative ease.

If your testosterone cypionate is a strength of 200 milligrams per milliliter, each 10 units on an insulin syringe would contain 20 mgs. of testosterone.

As you can see here it took me a few seconds to draw the oil.

Room temperture can vary from household to household, so if your bottle is cold it may make the oil thicker and more difficult to draw. There is no harm in briefly running warm water over the bottle.

Thanks for viewing.

Perfect. I just switched from 29g 1/2 inch to 31g 5/16. Was getting a little too much brusing. So hopefully this helps.

Inject with the bevel facing up. Less tearing,
less needle arching/bending and of course less blood

I also used testosterone cypionate and I use this exact same needle and it takes forever to pull 100 mg into a diabetic needle however, I’d rather take a little more time and not be sticking a harpoon in me all the time

hey i think you need to draw enough air as what you’re putting into the vial, if your T prescription is .1mL then draw .1mL, inject it into the vial, and then flip and draw .1mL of T

otherwise you’re putting too much air into the vial (you put 1mL) for each injection and there’s gonna be a lot of pressure which can shoot out T and just isn’t good in my experience

I don't understand why you would ever use that type of a syringe for an intramuscular injection?

I use the 25 gauge intramuscular needle heads and they work for injections… can’t imagine how long you sitting there with it in your leg…

We dont inject air in the UK, we just withdraw straight from vial, negative pressure=slow draw and potential contamination of benzo weakening the strength of serum. Its an NHS thing.

Why put the outside air into the vial? That’s how you introduce airborne pathogens. Never once had to add air to the vial to get it to draw.

Can you use the insulin needle to inject in to leg or dealts fine and the test still go inside your body

1. You didn’t prep swab the top of the bottle (infection risk)
2. The needle is now more blunt from going through the rubber seal.
3. The needle’s sterility going into the rubber is now compromised.

guy you can use different bigger 25 gauge syringe just to draw out then fill it into your insulin syringe (back fill) that way your insuline syringe needle can be sharp without being used.

Why not Back load w bigger needle. That means poppin the back end off the insulin needle and using a IM needle to fill it then pop back on

Draw with 18 and inject with a 25 . I don't see how you get that tuny needle through the skin.
