Excellent video! No wasted words, no wasted time. Very direct, easy to follow. Too many videos go into tools, and soil and all that. A lot of us don’t need remedial info. So I really appreciate this video!

I would love to see a full video on dividing perennials! Especially when to recognize that it's needed. This one was very helpful!

As the weather gets colder, I would love to see a video sometime about taking certain plants into the house. An example would be something like coleus. I'd like to see how these plants are potted up, what fertilizer it may or may not need, and what would be the best location in the house for them. Of course some of us may have a little time before this becomes necessary, but I think it would make an interesting video in the future. Thanks Laura. :)

Apparently we do it wrong here in WV. 😂 We split our hostas in Spring, just when they start to peek out and you can see all the individual shoots. We put the shovel between shoots, where we want to divide, and dig up that section and transplant it. Both halves always bloom right on time, though, so apparently they’re hardy enough not to care! Lol I am so thankful for your videos, though, so I can learn better ways to garden. Thanks!

I have been watching you for quite a while and I love your videos. You have introduced me to so many amazing plants/bushes/ trees. You have a beautiful family and home. I recently put in a front and back patio but after seeing your videos want different plantings. Local landscapers seem to not have a clue at the variety out there. Can you help? Mary

I wish you made videos like every day because I'm just a new gardener but am too obsessed and I'm almost always lost. I have seen all your videos but can you make know of how to prune a bougainvillea or one of how to prune a crepe myrtle. Also help to prune anything really because I don't want to prune anything wrong and mess up my plant . Lastly can you make a video about annuals and perennials. Thank you so much for everything you have done its helped me so much these per few months ily xoxoxooxoxooxoxoxoxoxxo

I live in zone 5a. In the video you were dividing lavender and you live in a similar zone so would you let me know what variety you grow? I've had no luck with it here (outside Chicago)

Hi Laura. Question on Penstemon(Midnight Masquerade)? Can you separate them and plant like you did here in this video?

Is there a better time to do this? Meaning, is it safe for me to breakdown and transplant now, or should I wait until the Summer heat here in Southern California passes?

Does anybody else see those eyes on the tree?

What is the 2nd plant called? A B Bomb Phlox? I have some in my front yard with light purple flowers. Is that the same? I have been trying to find the name of it for along time. I’d love to add to it.
