From the way Kirby was talking, he was proving them wrong. Fix the system

the game showed that Alabama was to high. Georgia should have not dropped to 5 from a field goal last minute

Georgia should have been in the playoffs... hindsight and all

What people fail to realize about FSU is that many players forfeited the opportunity to enter the NFL in 2022 so that they could compete for a national championship in 2023. Many of these guys were transfers; Jordan Travis is one of them. FSU went 23-4 in the past two seasons with a few of those transfers on a team that was still considered by some to be in a rebuilding phase. You can't go 23-4 with transfers added to your team and have a bad culture problem. Those players came back because of how good the culture is. They went undefeated and had the opportunity to compete for a national championship, only to have it taken away. To say that players are selfish for opting out is just ignorant. Many of those players who opted out fought through injuries and put their bodies on the line for a chance to win a natty with their bros. Opting out was a personal decision that has to do with their future. It had nothing to do with not caring or being there for the boys they went to war with. The season ended on December 3rd. If going 13-0 doesn’t mean anything, then why risk injury and potentially forfeit the chance to make millions by playing in an exhibition game that means nothing?

I would love to see what you have to say about the CFP Committees decision with both Bama and Texas losing and now even Paul Finebaum stating that maybe Bama was overvalued and Greg Mcelroy describing Washington's season long performance as "they just found ways to win." Etc.

Clemson went undefeated in the Acc too. And, then cost Bama two national championships. So yea, the Acc is a power five conference. Oh yea, FSU went undefeated in the Acc and cost Auburn a national championship. So yea, teams out of the Acc can win it all vs the Sec.

Georgia this year reminds me of Ohio state 2015. Won the natty last year and was Loaded. Lost 1 game by a couple points but went OFF in the bowl game and was better than the other team that went to the playoff. Just had 1 bad game 1 bad night.

People talk about FSU'S They brought back the most production in the country from the 2022 team! Then were told games don't matter by the committee. What on earth 🌎 do they have to prove.

'Give Kirby Smart a month to prepare AND he felt like he was slighted?' That's a recipe for disaster for anyone who faces UGA.
2 consecutive bowl games UGA 10. The combined record for those 2 teams (TCU&FSU ) 25-1. Georgia's record for 2 years? 28-1. Not top four for Georgia. Best team period. Undefeated in 3 years of regular season play and goosed right in the ass by network tv. I may lie and you may lie but the numbers don't and that's the proof i need to understand what happened this year with the CFP. Texas/Bama rematch would have garnered the highest advertising revenue so the 11 people on the CFP who have ZERO college football experience (not even cleaning jock straps or servicing the seniors after a loss) went to work to make that happen.
The college kids responded and 2 blue teams will make this the last year that this CFP shitshow can ruin the very best from proving they are the best.

Thank you for speaking the TRUTH! FSU had nothing left to prove after the NCAA said that nothing done on the field matters. There is no reason to leave things subjective other than continuing to let bias dictate who even has a chance at playing.

exactly, what does 14-0 prove? they still can't play in CFP. Bashing FSU on opt out orange bowl is so disingenuous.

Fsu players played last year in their bowl game when it was the bowl they earned. I don't think they could get their head around putting forth the effort to play in a bowl they shouldn't have been in

Dawgs Lost By 3 To Bama And Got Screwed By Dropping To #6. Ohio State Could Lose To Sister Mary Christian College And Drop From #1 To #2. Michigan Caught Cheating, Suspended Their Coach And Are Still In The Playoffs, Unbelievable.

You don’t want to blame the culture but that’s exactly what it looks like to me. Both teams were slighted but GA decided to show everyone that the committee was wrong while FSU got out of dodge leaving their school and fellow players in the clutch. It’s definitely cultural.

FSU-UGA did not prove the committee wrong. Bama-UM did prove the committee wrong.
