Consistent female playing style

Is consistency important in table tennis?

I would like to see her style against a more conventional attacker. Against a defender her style matches well.

It's not a feminin table tennis game play, it's HER gameplay, females play with power too, don't generalize too quick bc it's a woman

Hard to judge her style vs this defender. Points are naturally slowed down vs choppers. Perhaps he gets a lot of easy points from players trying to power loop his chops as they put them in the net or long at this playing level. I'd say her safe, soft loops is a good tactic. Particularly since there was no threat from him in a counter loop. In a match with a more traditional player, perhaps her style wouldn't be classified as slow.

unless u are a blocking monster, forget about that style... Sure works well against this defensive player. But if u playing against a really aggressive player who also is consistent u will have absolutely no chance... Myplaying style was always: Going for the spin, going for no unforced fails. But today with the plastic ball u get destroyed by players who can play harder or are blockmonsters...

I wouldn't say she won, besicly she didn't do anything... The guy just lost. She was passive, guy had a lot of opportunities to score but he was even more passive 🤣😋

She is a much higher rated player from the looks of it.

I wouldn't say it's female style. It's just right a tactics against long pips defender. But his technics is poor. Consistent modern defender can counter-topspin from FH, so his opponent would fail when playing as slow as her.

Beginner chopper...dont have to waste own energy to win him. He cant even attack a slow loop.

TT is one of those very few sports where it is gender neutral meaning manly prowess does not increase winning probability.

The defender has very little means of putting pressure, she wins easily. Even his grip is very poor.

I wouldn't call this the "female playing style." It's more a style to play against a chopper. The chopper here isn't that good either. He misses balls even I would get (I'm an attacker). And the woman does in fact use power. She doesn't rip it, but she varies her power, sometimes playing slow, sometimes medium-fast. I'd call her style spinny, w/ varied power. Against me I'm sure she'd use more power, but she changes her style based on her opponent's style. She's a very good player. Also, there are a lot of females that use extreme power. So your label of "female playing style" due to low power I find very sexist.
