Italian Air Force F-35 scramble training. The Italian Air Force’s 32nd Wing, with six F-35 aircraft, has recently assumed responsibility for the NATO air policing mission in Icelandic skies. Iceland does not have a full range of air defence assets, so NATO Allies, in conjunction with the Icelandic authorities, maintain a periodic presence of Allied fighter aircraft at Keflavík Airport.

I'm curious how long a typical, normal-state F35 Scramble process would take, from alarm sounded to wheels up? 15 min? 20 ?? Moreover, curious if certain variants of the F-35 might have slower or faster scramble response to flight than other variants?

Sure they can fire the EF up before the pilot gets in . F35 should have that .
