Stimulant use in pediatric #ADHD patients with comorbid #bipolar disorder

I used to take Adderall and vyvanse i forget which was extended release or short release but i remember feeling the difference in the two. For people who have adhd these stimulants work.

I'm confused. Is his point to prefer short acting stimulants in bipolar, or the opposite?

I’m schizoaffective-bipolar1. Doing my own research im realizing there are so many similarities to autistic and adhd features. I don’t fit wholly into those categories like I do my own diagnosis, but only similarly. WHY do those diagnoses have such similarities?
