they changed the date on me D: havent finished it fully yet, but ive been enjoying it. i love seeing details in the show without the video game mechanic context. really interesting to see these things in live-action

Absolutely adored it, huge fan of Walton Goggins performance

I think it represented WHAT the games try to accomplish as games, very well as a tv show.
It kept the "not take itself too seriously, but have very serious undertones" vibe that all the games typically adhere to.

I love Walton Goggins and he did an absolutely fantasic job as The Ghoul. But I was honestly more impressed by Lucy/her actor. She maintained a very likeable character, while not being a typical "girl boss" and actually had character development, even with just her outfit changing.

She went from a prim and pressed vault dweller, to a hardened surface survivor. Her outfit smeared with blood and more than willing to take a life if she needs to. She honestly reminds me of what the Lone Wanderer from Fallout 3 would have been like if you had been playing your first playthrough. You enter the world knowing nothing and are forced to adapt to the world around you, not the other way around.

I dislike the years that this all happened. I would have been significantly more happy if they shifted the events like the NCR collapsing, to like 10-15 years later as it was already obvious the NCR was fucked. But honestly it doesnt bother me all that much. The show is solid with good humor, likeable characters and a solid plot.

I wasnt surprised by Vault-Tec being the ones who started The Great War. We already had several pieces of evidence from the games suggesting it was them from the beginning who launched the nukes, such as the Vault-Tec logo being on the undetonated nuke at Megaton.

I am really invested in the lore, and so far, there are things I'm questioning a lot. Mainly, how things got to the way they are in the West Coast now. As long as season 2 gives us context and doesn't just retcon things, I'll be happy.

I work with a 60 year old man who watched the whole season over the weekend and now he asks about lore and listens like a kid at a campfire when I explain factions to him.

It was really damn good. The creative liberties that they did take, we’re done extremely well. It’s really charming and brutal both at the same time. I think the best thing the show has done, has shown people that there’s a difference between fallout, and new Vegas.
The only criticism I had, were certain edits and placements of things, and whoever was operating the power armor, just looked really goofy and uncomfortable. 90% of the time they kind of literally just stood there when action was happening

I loved it. It really tied in well to the lore. Confirmed some things I hoped it would for sure. It is nice to have Bethesda keep control over the show to maintain what is presented as canon information

Why didnt the ghoul just shoot maximus in filly the same way he shot the other knights at the observatory

Probably the best live action game-to-film adaptation I’ve seen. My only issue is the NCR “falling” but to be honest, I really think it’s just a “beginning of the end” type stuff. All in all 9.5/10 stars for me!

Amazing. By far the best live action video game adaptation I've ever seen. It perfectly captures the spirit and feel of the games and for lore fans it's just fantastic, seriously I cannot overstate my satisfaction with this show.

Really great series but I wasn’t a fan with vault tec just wiping out the NCR, hopefully in season 2 they get the factions a little better and do something more with vault tec but besides that representing the flaws in the factions with a person who has never seen them was brilliant.
Edit: last criticism is the fact that one dude defeated an entire BOS platoon, sure he’s supposed to be cool but he ain’t the courier

I thought it was mostly good, it does have some minor issues, but overall I think has potential and can be a good way to introduce fallout to a bigger audience
