When she said "thank you for taking me out" I finally let the flood of tears I'd been holding onto fall like a tonne of bricks, hitting me with the realisation again that my beautiful son passed away last year, six months this Friday 17th, and who was also wheelchair bound and suffered from a mortal disease of which I won't name :'( He was just 20 years old.. just two months shy of his 21st birthday. This song has pierced my heart and my grief and I feel like listening to the audio a million times over, in the hope that for anyone special like the man in the video, there will always be a special kind of woman who will sacrifice anything to love him...

I've heard bits and pieces of this song over the years but never saw this video (or any of the other videos either) . The love depicted in the video brought me to tears. For one spouse to care for the other in the worst situations imaginable is a physical manifestation of the deepest love possible. God bless all caregivers.

This song reminds me of my late husband, who died of metastatic lung cancer. He passed away not quite a year after finding out. I took him to every radiation and chemo appointment. It' s a hard thing to watch how sick a person becomes, and then to find out that nothing more can be done. He gave me so much hope to carry on. I miss him so much.
