Very cool theory, I love it! Reminds me of Till We Have Faces by C.S. Lewis (excellent book, if you haven't read it), in which Psyche is assigned all these impossible tasks which she's only able to complete because her sister Orual takes all her mental and emotional pain upon herself, which she's glad to do.
Really enjoy your videos, keep up the good work! So nice to see some plain old SW theorizing that's not just ragging on the new movies!
P.S. I've said it before and I'll say it again, I love the concept of the Force Dyad and I really hope they explore it further in canon, whether between Ben and Rey or some other characters.

Nice theory. I just think that the subconscious love that Rey felt from her parents combined with not wanting to inflict the same kind of misery on others is what made Rey act kindly. Ben on the other side decided to act out because he felt pressure of not living up to his family and resentment from being ignored. But your theory works here as well. Love your channel. It’s thoughtful.

I love this theory. Is balanced.Ben Solo must return from whatever state he is now. In TFA and TLJ Darkness (as Kylo) still rises and Light ( Rey) to meet it. But in TROS, Darkness( as Rey )rises and Light (as Ben) to meet it. It's reversed.

If they had that connection since birth and kylo could always sense rey that makes sense for when in the force awakens the officer is telling him about a girl that accompanied BB-8 and fin, and kylo reacted asking what girl? he was probably worried that the girl he had always sensed was now in motion.

I’d love it if you talked about Ben’s villainous, murdering, cheating, lying, conning, too tall not to be dark-side, “ either I’m beginning to like her or I’m going to kill her!” father. I don’t know why everyone always says he has too much Vader in him. Has Han looked in the mirror. What kind of force user would Han have been. If Ben wanted proof that he couldn’t really change his ways Han was it.

No one is destined to be good or evil. Assuming the Rey and Ben should be is silly.
Ben fell to the dark side because he was manipulated by the same person that manipulated the young Anakin Skywalker. But the difference would be that Ben was manipulated from the time he was in the womb. He was very dedicated to the light side it was the Light Side who practically pushed him into the arms of The Darkside who has been whispering like a devil on his shoulder since he was a baby. Rey clearly had great parents with good intentions. And they clearly raised their daughter to not be what the grandfather is.
