I will never understand why Mike Newell thought it was a good idea to skip the entire Quidditch World Cup match. In fact, there's quite a lot of things he messed up in this movie.

It's absolutely wild to me that the director of this film hated the book. I just can't understand how that could happen. They have to choose directors who like the book when doing movie adaptations.

Took me more than a decade to notice Hermione Granger using her lap as percussion at 4:40. I've always loved how more often than not, she's grabbing on to Harry Potter in life threatening situations, an example being 5:21.

Harry's character is sometimes silly, everyone got away but he kept turning around until he fell over.

Maybe it’s just the American in me, but if 20 dudes with guns walked into a camp of 10, 000 dudes with guns…I guess it’d be a shorter film

After you read these moments in the book and realize how much they strayed from reality. Few things are done right here: 1.The DE indeed spread chaos and fear with only few of them in number. 2.Hard to notice but there is a muggle family in the background hanging upside down just like in the book. 3.David Tennant. 4."MORSMORDRE!" so cool. 5.The design of the dark mark is fantastically creepy like it should be. Much better design in my opinion than in the later films.

While I really liked the visuals in this clip, the book really went into much greater detail about the events concerning the match itself and the aftermath. Maybe there was some parts left out of this clip. I think I'll go back and reread the whole thing.
