Roland SP-404 A - Sampled Beat Making

In today’s video i'm making a sampled beat with the Roland SP404A, a lo-if type beat and I think it turned out pretty chill. I used my Harley Benton guitar + delay pedal to record some simple loops. Also got myself a custom skin for my SP-404. Thanks Roland, Harley Benton & Cremacaffé.

Hi guys, been sitting on the SP-404A for a while, and now it was time to make a video and a beat using it. I'm definitely a rookie when it comes to this machine, and I must say that the learning curve is very different from Maschine or the MC101. Iv'e had some really nice time playing with the SP-404A and I will continue to use it in my setup to make Boom Bap and Lo-Fi type beats. The new addition to the setup is my electric guitar from Harley Benton and I really like it. I'm not a good guitar player, but to have the options to record some simple stuff is awesome. Thanks Roland and Harley Benton. I'm truly grateful!

I like your process. Resampling seems to work best with effects, but I really like the sequencer workflow. If I can start to capture samples by using a metronome that might be more in line with the way I think through composition. Nice.
